ResumiQ.online respects your privacy. This page explains exactly what data we collect, when, and why — depending on whether you use the tool as a guest or sign in with Google.
No Account Required to Use ResumiQ
You can build and download a complete resume without creating an account. As a guest, no personal information — not your name, email, or any identifier — is required or collected.
Guest Mode: Data Stays in Your Browser
When using ResumiQ as a guest (without signing in), all resume content you enter is stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage. This data is never transmitted to or stored on our servers. If you clear your browser storage or switch devices, your data will not be available — it exists only on your device.
Google Sign-In: Secure Cloud Sync
If you choose to sign in with your Google account, your resume data is securely saved to our database so you can continue editing from any device. We store only the resume content you have created and the Google account identifier used to authenticate. We do not access your Google contacts, Gmail, or any other Google data beyond basic profile information (name and email) needed to identify your account.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly, anonymised page view analytics (such as visit counts) to understand general usage. This data is aggregate and cannot be used to identify individual users. We do not track what content you enter into the resume builder.
Cookies
ResumiQ.online does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. When signed in, a session cookie is used to maintain your authentication. We may use localStorage to persist your theme preference (light/dark). We do not use third-party tracking pixels.
